SPYON/USDT is a MEXC spot trading pair that allows eligible users to buy or sell Ondo’s tokenized SPY exposure using USDT.
Trading SPYON is not the same as buying traditional SPY ETF shares through a securities broker. The user holds SPYON, a tokenized product, rather than a directly registered interest in the State Street SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust.
Before trading, users should understand the product, check jurisdictional eligibility, compare SPYON with SPY and examine the live order-book spread.

The displayed price shows how many USDT the market currently requires for one SPYON.
The latest traded price does not guarantee the price at which a new order will execute. Execution depends on available bids and asks.
Use the official MEXC website or app and follow the current MEXC account registration guide.
Before depositing funds:
MEXC’s current guide allows registration through methods including email or mobile number, subject to regional availability.
Tokenized securities may have different restrictions from ordinary crypto spot markets.
Confirm that:
Availability of a trading page does not by itself establish legal eligibility.
SPYON is quoted in USDT, so the user needs a sufficient USDT balance.
USDT may be obtained by:
When transferring USDT, the sending and receiving networks must match.
Go to the SPYON/USDT spot market.
Review:

Before buying, check the official SPY fund page.
Useful comparison points include:
As of July 28, 2026, SPY’s NAV was $740.49 and its closing market price was $740.86, with a 0.04% premium at the official calculation time.
SPYON can show a different price because of total-return adjustments, separate trading hours, USDT pricing and token-market liquidity.
A limit order allows the buyer to set the maximum acceptable price.
Example:
Limit orders may be preferable when:
A market order attempts to execute immediately against available orders.
It prioritizes speed rather than price certainty. If the order consumes several sell levels, the average execution price may be higher than the last displayed trade. This is slippage.
Check:
| Order field | What to verify |
|---|---|
| Pair | SPYON/USDT |
| Direction | Buy or sell |
| Order type | Limit or market |
| Price | Relevant for limit orders |
| Quantity | Number of SPYON tokens |
| Total | Estimated USDT value |
| Fees | Current account rate |
| Balance | Sufficient available funds |
SPYON can experience broad-equity-market drawdowns. Position size should not be based on the assumption that a large index ETF cannot fall significantly.
After submission:
Review the completed order to confirm:
Selling on MEXC is a secondary-market transaction. It is not automatically a direct redemption through Ondo.
SPY trades primarily during U.S. securities-market hours. Ondo states that tokenized securities can be transferred and traded peer-to-peer 24/7, while direct minting and redemption are generally available 24/5.
Outside the U.S. stock session:
Potential costs include:
Fee schedules and promotions can change. Check the trading interface before submitting an order.
Before withdrawing SPYON:
An unsupported network or incorrect contract address can cause permanent loss.
An eligible MEXC account, access to SPYON/USDT and sufficient USDT.
The market may support fractional token quantities, subject to MEXC’s minimum-order and precision rules.
A limit order provides price control. A market order prioritizes immediate execution but can create slippage.
Possible causes include liquidity, market hours, USDT pricing, dividend reinvestment and creation or redemption conditions.
The secondary market may remain open, but liquidity and reference pricing may be weaker.
Eligible users can access SPYON/USDT on MEXC.
