AYALA LAND Offices (ALO), the office leasing unit of Ayala Land, Inc., said its One Ayala East and West Towers have obtained Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification, covering 74,531 square meters of gross floor area of office space.
“By achieving both LEED and EDGE Zero Carbon certifications across all three towers, One Ayala provides organizations with an address that aligns with their environmental commitments while delivering the connectivity, accessibility, and workplace experience they need to thrive,” Ayala Land Offices Chief Executive Officer Hamm E. Katipunan said in a statement on Monday.
LEED Gold certification recognizes compliance with standards for energy efficiency, resource management, and indoor environmental quality.
The One Ayala South Tower also holds LEED certification, bringing all three office towers in the development under the certification program.
The three towers have likewise received Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE) Zero Carbon certification, which recognizes measures to achieve net-zero operational carbon through the use of 100% renewable energy, water conservation, energy efficiency, and carbon insetting initiatives.
Mr. Katipunan said companies are increasingly seeking workplaces that support their sustainability goals in addition to traditional office requirements.
In June, ALO signed a long-term lease agreement with workspace provider AXON Group for the former Teleperformance Center Ayala building. The company also welcomed Australian digital healthcare provider Eucalyptus to Click Space, its flexible workspace at One Ayala, as the tenant expands its global operations.
