Reuters: OpenAI is preparing for an IPO, which could value it at up to approximately $1 trillion.
PANews reported on October 30th that, according to Reuters, sources familiar with the matter said OpenAI is paving the way for an initial public offering (IPO) that could value the company at up to approximately $1 trillion, potentially making it one of the largest IPOs in history. OpenAI is considering filing for listing with securities regulators as early as the second half of 2026. In initial discussions, the company is considering a minimum fundraising amount of $60 billion, but the actual amount could be higher.
