The Bittensor (TAO) ecosystem is thriving with fresh capital and subnet milestones, which is giving a boost to the price rally. Recent developments in the ecosystem have witnessed increased interest in Bittensor.

On March 17, General Tensor secured $5 million in strategic funding with support from a Goldman Sachs-linked firm. A day earlier, subnet-driven momentum helped push the TAO price higher, showing how technical progress can directly impact demand.

However, ongoing weekly token unlocks are introducing new supply into the market. Despite this, price action has remained resilient, suggesting strong underlying interest.

With all these things happening around TAO, here are five reasons why this analyst says he won’t be selling anytime soon.

A Bigger Vision Than “Decentralized AI”

Crypto analyst Karamata shared on X that Bittensor (TAO) is often misunderstood. Many still describe it as just a decentralized AI project, but he believes it is evolving into something much larger.

In his view, the Bittensor (TAO) network is becoming a system of independent AI subnets, where each subnet operates like its own mini economy.

These subnets compete for emissions, users, liquidity, and attention. This competitive structure creates a dynamic ecosystem rather than a single use case.

The analyst points to the growing number of subnets, more specialized markets, and early signs of real usage across compute, inference, and data as proof that the network is maturing.

Strong Token Design

Another reason behind his conviction is TAO’s token structure, which he considers one of the strongest in the market.

The asset has a fixed supply capped at 21 million, with no heavy venture capital overhang that could create excess selling pressure.

However, emissions are designed to decrease over time, while rewards are distributed to active participants within the network.

He believes this creates a cleaner and more sustainable system compared to many other tokens that face heavy dilution. If demand continues to grow while emissions slow down, the long-term setup becomes more attractive.

Exposure to the Entire Ecosystem

The analyst also highlights that holding TAO provides broad exposure to everything happening within the Bittensor network.
Instead of trying to pick individual subnet winners, investors can gain exposure to the entire ecosystem through a single asset.

As more developers, users, and capital flow into Bittensor, TAO could benefit from that overall growth. This makes it a simpler and more efficient way to bet on the network’s expansion.

Technical Signals Support the Trend

From a chart point of view, it also looks like a good setup.  The momentum indicators are turning positive, as the MACD indicator is showing a crossover, while the RSI indicator is showing a bounce from the lower levels, with the volume trends stabilizing, indicating the start of the accumulation process.

Based on previous patterns, he expects this momentum to continue for several weeks if the structure holds.

Even though his focus is on the long-term, there are certain price zones that could trigger short-term movements. These price zones include the $480 level, followed by the $650 level, and then a higher price zone between $720 and $780.

This could potentially trigger resistance levels where traders could take partial profit, even though the main trend is still intact.

For this analyst, the decision to hold Bittensor (TAO) comes down to its unique position in the market. He sees Bittensor as more than just a token following the AI trend. Instead, he believes it is building a system where AI competes on-chain and capital flows toward performance.

If that model continues to grow, TAO could still be early in its development, which is why he sees little reason to sell anytime soon.
