Gate opens up Info MCP and News MCP to help AI Agents "understand the market" in real time before trading.

PANews reported on March 16 that the digital asset trading platform Gate launched Gate Info MCP and Gate News MCP, which together form the "AI Intelligence Layer" of Gate for AI. This provides AI Agents with a complete data foundation, from market research to public opinion perception, enabling them to obtain structured market information before executing transactions.

Among them, Gate Info MCP provides 10 data tools covering capabilities such as currency information, market snapshots, technical indicators, multi-period technical signals, on-chain address risk identification, token holdings, and "smart money" analysis; Gate News MCP provides news search, exchange announcement monitoring, and social sentiment analysis to help agents identify industry events and market sentiment changes in real time.

Both MCP services can be accessed directly without an account or API key. Through a unified interface system, Gate systematically opens up market data, on-chain analytics, and information capabilities, enabling AI Agents to complete the entire process of research, decision-making, and trade execution within a single platform. Currently, Gate for AI has formed a capability architecture covering six major areas: CEX, DEX, wallet, on-chain payments, real-time information, and market data.
