Kenny Nguyen doesn’t usually make XRP price predictions. This time, he made an exception. The crypto commentator told followers he expects XRP to trade between $10 and $50 within a few months of President Trump signing the CLARITY Act into law, calling that range “conservatively fair” heading into Q4 2026.
The CLARITY Act would establish a regulatory framework for digital assets in the U.S. The bill grants the CFTC exclusive jurisdiction over digital commodity spot markets while preserving SEC jurisdiction over investment contract assets. The SEC and CFTC jointly classified XRP as a commodity in March, and the bill would cement that status by making it federal law.
The House passed the bill in July 2025, and the Senate Banking Committee advanced it on May 14. It was placed on the Senate Legislative Calendar in early June and is now eligible for a full Senate floor vote. Paired with the GENIUS Act, the CLARITY Act would complete the most thorough federal digital asset framework in the U.S.
Nguyen’s price call bets on the bill reaching the president’s desk soon. Its passage would give the crypto market the kind of regulatory certainty many traders have waited years for.
Several replies picked up on Nguyen’s broader thread about XRP’s price trajectory. One commenter argued that institutional players want retail holders to sell off their XRP. Many market participants believe institutions are trying to price out retail holders, and he believes they will do so before pushing the price toward the levels needed for global liquidity use.
One said he could see XRP reaching Nguyen’s target range if tokenization sees a major push soon. Another commenter shared a personal story about a conversation in which he told a friend that XRP will hit $1,000 by year’s end, while others cited figures, such as $8, $10, and $16.
Not everyone shared the optimism. One reply asked whether Nguyen’s price calls were a genuine 100% conviction or an educated guess, adding that predicted prices have historically fallen short. Another agreed that the CLARITY Act would pass, but said he isn’t optimistic about XRP’s price movement.
Another disagreed entirely, stating that the CLARITY Act will not be passed in July as many have predicted. He believes XRP won’t hit $10 this year, but says it may do so in 2027.
