SHEIN is moving from a private company to a publicly traded business. The global online fashion retailer formally launched its Hong Kong IPO on August 24, 2026, offering approximately 280 million Class B shares at HK$47.60 to HK$49.50 each.
SHEIN shares are scheduled to begin trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on September 1 under stock code 00625. Until that first trading session begins, however, SHEIN still does not have a live public stock price.
That distinction matters for searches such as SHEIN stock, SHEIN stock price, SHEIN share price, SHEIN ticker and is SHEIN publicly traded. The IPO offer price, company valuation, private-market valuation and prices of derivative products all describe different things.
SHEIN launched its Hong Kong IPO on August 24, 2026.
Public trading is scheduled to begin September 1.
SHEIN’s Hong Kong stock code is 00625.
The IPO offer range is HK$47.60–HK$49.50 per share.
The offer implies a market capitalization of approximately US$25.8 billion to US$26.8 billion.
SHEIN does not yet have a live public stock price because regular trading has not started.
A SHEIN-linked derivative is not the same as owning SHEIN shares.

SHEIN has formally launched its IPO, meaning the company is now in the final process of becoming publicly listed. Shares have been offered to investors, a price range has been established and the company has received stock code 00625.
Regular exchange trading, however, is scheduled to begin on September 1. Until then, investors cannot observe a live SHEIN share price established through normal trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
After September 1, this answer changes. SHEIN will become a publicly traded company if the listing proceeds according to the current timetable, and 00625 will represent the company’s listed Class B shares.
SHEIN does not yet have a live public stock price.
The company currently has an IPO offer range of HK$47.60 to HK$49.50 per share. That range determines how shares are priced and allocated through the IPO process, but it is not the same as a market price created by continuous exchange trading.
Once SHEIN begins trading, the market may price the shares above or below the final offer price depending on investor demand.
This distinction is especially important because several different numbers may appear online before listing. A private-company valuation, IPO valuation, offer price and derivative price can all be associated with SHEIN, but none should automatically be described as the current public stock price.
After listing, this article can be updated with SHEIN’s final offer price, opening price, live share price and public-market capitalization.
SHEIN’s Hong Kong stock code is 00625.
The company will list as SHEIN Global Holdings Limited on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Earlier draft IPO materials did not include a final code, but the formal offering process has now resolved that question.
Investors searching for a SHEIN Nasdaq or NYSE ticker should note that the current IPO is taking place in Hong Kong. SHEIN previously explored U.S. and London listings, but neither resulted in public trading.
Symbols used by derivative platforms or private-market services should also not be confused with the official Hong Kong stock code.
SHEIN shares are scheduled to begin trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on September 1, 2026.
The company initially pursued a U.S. IPO and later explored London before shifting the listing to Hong Kong. Chinese regulators cleared the Hong Kong route in July, allowing the company to proceed toward the formal offer.
SHEIN launched the IPO on August 24. The offer price is expected to be determined by August 28 and publicly announced by August 31, followed by the planned first trading session on September 1.
The Hong Kong listing means investors who want actual SHEIN equity will ultimately need access to the market where 00625 trades. Buying another company with exposure to fashion or Chinese e-commerce is not the same as buying SHEIN stock.
SHEIN’s current IPO range implies a market capitalization of approximately HK$202.1 billion to HK$210.2 billion, or roughly US$25.8 billion to US$26.8 billion.
That represents a dramatic decline from the private valuation SHEIN reached during its fastest period of expansion. The company was valued at US$98.2 billion in 2022 and around US$64 billion in 2023.
The lower public-market valuation does not mean SHEIN has become a smaller business. Revenue actually increased to US$41.847 billion in 2025.
Instead, investors are placing a lower valuation multiple on the company because revenue growth has slowed, net profitability has weakened and cross-border trade has become more expensive.
The distinction between valuation and market capitalization will become even clearer after listing. The current number is implied by the IPO terms. Once 00625 trades publicly, market capitalization will move continuously with the stock price.
Regular publicly traded SHEIN stock is not available until exchange trading begins.
Before listing, actual equity access generally comes through private ownership or participation in the IPO allocation process. Those routes are very different from buying a publicly traded stock through a normal exchange order.
A derivative product can provide market-price exposure before or around the listing, but that is not the same as acquiring SHEIN equity.
This distinction is important for anyone searching how to buy SHEIN stock before IPO. Market exposure and company ownership are two different products.
After listing, SHEIN shares under 00625 will represent actual equity in SHEIN Global Holdings Limited. An investor who owns the relevant listed shares holds an economic interest in the company and receives the shareholder rights attached to that share class.
Holding SHEINSTOCK_USDT therefore does not provide voting rights, dividends or other shareholder rights. The contract price can also differ from the IPO offer price and the market price of the listed shares.
This distinction should remain explicit even after SHEIN becomes public. A derivative price should not be presented as the official SHEIN stock price.
SHEIN’s size makes the current valuation particularly interesting.
The company generated US$41.847 billion in revenue and US$2.064 billion in net income in 2025. At the top of the current IPO range, the implied market capitalization of around US$26.8 billion equals roughly 0.6 times 2025 revenue and about 13 times 2025 net income.
However, current growth is much slower than the annual figures alone suggest. Revenue growth fell from 20.7% in 2024 to 8.0% in 2025 and only 1.1% in Q1 2026.
SHEIN also reported weaker operating performance in early 2026. Operating income fell approximately 26% in Q1 and operating margin declined to 2.9%.
The IPO therefore represents a public-market test of whether SHEIN can stabilize growth and profitability while adapting to higher tariffs, fulfilment expenses and regulatory costs.
Once 00625 begins trading, several questions that currently require qualification become much simpler.
SHEIN will have a live public stock price instead of only an IPO offer range. Investors will be able to observe the opening price, intraday movements, closing price and market capitalization.
The Stock Hub can therefore remain evergreen rather than becoming obsolete after the IPO. Its core job will simply change from explaining why SHEIN is not yet publicly traded to tracking the characteristics of SHEIN as a newly listed stock.
