San Jose, Costa Rica

Xgram.io, a leading non-custodial multichain cryptocurrency exchange platform, today announced the availability of private swaps for the USDT ERC20 to XMR trading pair. This new addition empowers users to seamlessly exchange Tether (USDT) on the Ethereum network for Monero (XMR), a privacy-focused cryptocurrency, with enhanced security, speed, and complete user control. As the demand for privacy-preserving transactions continues to rise in the digital asset space, xgram.io is committed to providing reliable, instant swaps that prioritize confidentiality without compromising on efficiency or liquidity.

The USDT ERC20 to XMR private swaps leverage xgram.io’s innovative hybrid liquidity engine, which aggregates market depth from proprietary reserves and multiple sources to deliver competitive rates and minimal fees. Users can choose between floating rates, which reflect the best available market conditions in real-time, or fixed rates that lock in the exchange value from the start, protecting against volatility through the platform’s Smart Hedge Protection system. With an average swap completion time of just 5 minutes, cross-chain capabilities eliminate the need for bridges or asset wrapping, making the process straightforward and accessible for both beginners and experienced traders.

Key features of the new trading pair include:

  • Non-Custodial: Funds are never stored on the platform; swaps occur directly wallet-to-wallet, minimizing risks and adhering to institutional-grade security standards.
  • Privacy by Default: Supporting privacy coins like Monero, the swaps ensure complete transaction confidentiality with no unnecessary questions or data collection.
  • AML Compliance: All assets undergo verified checks to provide clean crypto while maintaining user privacy.
  • Broad Accessibility: Available on mobile and desktop without downloads, with 24/7 live support via Telegram or email for any assistance.
  • Large-Volume Support: For exchanges starting at $10,000, a personal manager provides one-minute response times and guided transaction support.

Since its launch in 2024, Xgram has processed over 1 million successful swaps across more than 590 cryptocurrencies and 40,000 trading pairs, serving around 10,000 active users. The platform supports a wide range of blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, and more, constantly updating its offerings to include trending assets. User reviews highlight the service’s reliability for private swaps, with one recent testimonial noting, “The best choice for private swaps – I value privacy, so I tried dozens of services, and Xgram stands out for its speed and security.”

This launch further solidifies Xgram position as a go-to platform for instant, private cryptocurrency exchanges. Users can initiate USDT ERC20 to XMR swaps directly.

Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future

The post Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. “It’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress,” writes Pipes. Getty Images Washington is addicted to taxing success. Now, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is floating a plan to skim half the patent earnings from inventions developed at universities with federal funding. It’s being sold as a way to shore up programs like Social Security. In reality, it’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress. Yes, taxpayer dollars support early-stage research. But the real payoff comes later—in the jobs created, cures discovered, and industries launched when universities and private industry turn those discoveries into real products. By comparison, the sums at stake in patent licensing are trivial. Universities collectively earn only about $3.6 billion annually in patent income—less than the federal government spends on Social Security in a single day. Even confiscating half would barely register against a $6 trillion federal budget. And yet the damage from such a policy would be anything but trivial. The true return on taxpayer investment isn’t in licensing checks sent to Washington, but in the downstream economic activity that federally supported research unleashes. Thanks to the bipartisan Bayh-Dole Act of 1980, universities and private industry have powerful incentives to translate early-stage discoveries into real-world products. Before Bayh-Dole, the government hoarded patents from federally funded research, and fewer than 5% were ever licensed. Once universities could own and license their own inventions, innovation exploded. The result has been one of the best returns on investment in government history. Since 1996, university research has added nearly $2 trillion to U.S. industrial output, supported 6.5 million jobs, and launched more than 19,000 startups. Those companies pay…
