HM Revenue & Customs revised its guidance at the beginning of the new tax year. It decided that crypto ETNs are no longer subject to regular Stocks and Shares ISAs. Rather, they now have to be kept in IFISAs to be tax-free.

Consequently, investors had a market gap. None of the platforms provided crypto ETNs and IFISA services in one place. This made many users unable to access tax-efficient crypto investing.
