Trump's plan to attack media at the White House Correspondent dinner leaked: report

President Donald Trump is preparing a "revenge" attack on White House media at Saturday's Correspondents' Dinner, according to The Daily Beast.

Trump plans to target publications he has accused of negatively covering his administration, particularly its role in the Iran war, consistent with recent Truth Social rants accusing news outlets of rigging reports.

Sources indicate Trump will deliver his speech and then depart before the Katherine Graham award presentation, which will honor the Wall Street Journal for reporting on an alleged letter Trump wrote for Jeffrey Epstein's 50th birthday.

Trump sued the Journal over the reporting, claiming the letter was inauthentic, but a federal judge dismissed the suit this month.

Trump's planned early departure allows him to avoid potential embarrassment from the press award honoring coverage of his connection to the deceased financier and accused child trafficker.
