IDnow, Europe’s leading identity verification platform provider, and Trustfull, a leader in frictionless fraud prevention technology, today announced a strategic partnership to deliver a more adaptive and end-to-end approach to fraud prevention.

As fraud increases in speed, scale, and sophistication, point-in-time checks at onboarding are no longer sufficient. Businesses require continuous visibility into risk across onboarding, authentication, and every customer interaction.

By combining IDnow’s identity verification capabilities with Trustfull’s real-time digital and behavioural intelligence, organisations can build a richer, continuously evolving view of each user. This enables the detection of fraud across the full lifecycle, from synthetic identities at onboarding, to behavioural anomalies and account takeover attacks over time.

“The threat landscape has never been more complex, and fraud can occur at any stage of the customer journey. By bringing together high-quality signals from partners like Trustfull within a single platform, we give our customers a single source of truth for risk decisions, without the complexity of managing multiple vendor relationships,” said Simon Peralta, VP of Global Partners & International Sales at IDnow.

Trustfull strengthens this approach with real-time verification of digital attributes, including email, phone, device, IP, and browser data, helping organisations detect risk signals such as disposable credentials, device spoofing, and proxy usage, often linked to sophisticated fraud schemes.

At the core of the partnership is the IDnow Trust Platform, providing unified access to a broad set of identity verification methods and market-leading fraud signals. Through real-time correlation of identity, behavioural, device, and digital data, the platform enables precise, risk-based decisioning at every stage of the journey.

This allows businesses to move beyond static KYC toward a dynamic and continuous risk management model, where customer profiles are constantly evaluated and updated. Built for a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, the platform supports streamlined, ongoing compliance aligned with frameworks including eIDAS 2.0, AMLR, and PSD3.

“Our partnership with IDnow reflects a growing industry need for multi-layered fraud prevention, where identity verification is combined with broader digital intelligence to deliver stronger protection for businesses. We are pleased to join forces with such a leading player in the digital identity space and look forward to building powerful solutions together,” said Alex Tonello, SVP Global Partnerships of Trustfull.

Aave DAO to Shut Down 50% of L2s While Doubling Down on GHO

The post Aave DAO to Shut Down 50% of L2s While Doubling Down on GHO appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Aave DAO is gearing up for a significant overhaul by shutting down over 50% of underperforming L2 instances. It is also restructuring its governance framework and deploying over $100 million to boost GHO. This could be a pivotal moment that propels Aave back to the forefront of on-chain lending or sparks unprecedented controversy within the DeFi community. Sponsored Sponsored ACI Proposes Shutting Down 50% of L2s The “State of the Union” report by the Aave Chan Initiative (ACI) paints a candid picture. After a turbulent period in the DeFi market and internal challenges, Aave (AAVE) now leads in key metrics: TVL, revenue, market share, and borrowing volume. Aave’s annual revenue of $130 million surpasses the combined cash reserves of its competitors. Tokenomics improvements and the AAVE token buyback program have also contributed to the ecosystem’s growth. Aave global metrics. Source: Aave However, the ACI’s report also highlights several pain points. First, regarding the Layer-2 (L2) strategy. While Aave’s L2 strategy was once a key driver of success, it is no longer fit for purpose. Over half of Aave’s instances on L2s and alt-L1s are not economically viable. Based on year-to-date data, over 86.6% of Aave’s revenue comes from the mainnet, indicating that everything else is a side quest. On this basis, ACI proposes closing underperforming networks. The DAO should invest in key networks with significant differentiators. Second, ACI is pushing for a complete overhaul of the “friendly fork” framework, as most have been unimpressive regarding TVL and revenue. In some cases, attackers have exploited them to Aave’s detriment, as seen with Spark. Sponsored Sponsored “The friendly fork model had a good intention but bad execution where the DAO was too friendly towards these forks, allowing the DAO only little upside,” the report states. Third, the instance model, once a smart…
