WHY THIS MATTERS
The integration of Gold-i’s Visual Edge into DXtrade reflects the increasing importance of real-time risk management in multi-asset trading environments. As brokers expand into more asset classes and face more sophisticated trading strategies, having granular visibility over client behaviour, exposure and profitability is no longer optional—it’s essential to maintaining stable operations and margins.

This also highlights a broader shift toward embedded analytics within trading platforms. Rather than relying on external tools, brokers are demanding integrated solutions that combine execution, liquidity and risk management in one place. As competition intensifies, platforms that can deliver actionable insights—such as identifying toxic flow or optimising A-Book/B-Book decisions—are becoming critical differentiators.

DXtrade, the flagship multi-asset trading platform from Devexperts, the global software developer for the capital markets, has announced the integration of Visual Edge, the advanced risk management tool from market-leading trading technology provider, Gold-i.

Visual Edge, which is now accessible via the DXtrade platform, provides an unparalleled understanding of clients’ trading performance, enabling multi-asset brokers to manage risk, maximize the efficiency of their trading operations and increase profitability. It stands out for its powerful visual analysis capabilities, and provides a complete oversight of a broker’s trading operations, including exposure and P&L, empowering them to make informed decisions about which clients to A-Book and which to B-Book.

With Visual Edge, brokers are able to precisely monitor the key metrics that drive their trading operations through a number of special features, including dashboards; automated alerts customized to a broker’s specific requirements; and scheduled daily reports.

The technology provides a very clear view of which clients are making profits and which clients are making losses, while also allowing brokers to identify if profits or losses are specific to certain types of trades or groups and how consistent these trends are over time.

One of Visual Edge’s most popular features is its advanced scalper detection. Visual Edge automatically watches out for scalper traders and issues alerts when it detects them, enabling brokers to identify toxic clients and act accordingly, reducing losses and protecting their profits.

DXtrade is a market-leading multi-asset trading platform with flexible configuration options supporting stocks, options, futures, ETFs, mutual funds, bonds, FX, CFDs, and margin and spot digital assets. An out-of-the-box white label solution, DXtrade is in-part or fully customizable. It also offers the option for third party integrations, providing brokers with the opportunity to further differentiate and evolve their product over time.

Gold-i’s Visual Edge is immediately available via DXtrade, further enhancing the platform’s wide range of advanced trading and risk management features. The integration adds to DXtrade’s existing integration with Gold-i’s MatrixNET, an advanced liquidity management platform.

Tom Higgins, CEO and Founder, Gold-i, says: “We are very excited to be extending our partnership with Devexperts and widening access to Visual Edge. DXtrade is rapidly gaining traction amongst brokers worldwide, so this is a great opportunity for Gold-i. By integrating Gold-i’s Visual Edge into DXtrade, brokers using this institutional grade multi-asset trading platform gain deeper, real-time insight into their trading operations, enabling them to identify exposures earlier and make more informed decisions.”

Jon Light, Senior Director of Product Management at Devexperts says: “We have a long-standing relationship with Gold-i and we are truly excited to be bringing Visual Edge to brokers – current and prospective – licensing DXtrade. This technology is truly cutting edge and a game-changing support for firms looking to reduce losses and maximize their profits, through trader risk management. The holistic, comprehensive, and, above all, detailed overview provided by Visual Edge is second to none and we truly believe it will serve as a great asset to our clients. We are delighted to be adding this capability to DXtrade and look forward to our ongoing work with Gold-i.”

FF NEWS TAKE
This move strengthens the trend toward all-in-one trading infrastructure. By embedding advanced risk analytics directly into DXtrade, brokers gain immediate access to insights that were previously fragmented or delayed, enabling faster and more confident decision-making.

It also reinforces how risk management is evolving from a back-office function into a front-line capability. In a market where margins can be quickly eroded by adverse flow, tools like Visual Edge give brokers a clearer edge—turning data into a direct driver of profitability and control.

Aave DAO to Shut Down 50% of L2s While Doubling Down on GHO

The post Aave DAO to Shut Down 50% of L2s While Doubling Down on GHO appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Aave DAO is gearing up for a significant overhaul by shutting down over 50% of underperforming L2 instances. It is also restructuring its governance framework and deploying over $100 million to boost GHO. This could be a pivotal moment that propels Aave back to the forefront of on-chain lending or sparks unprecedented controversy within the DeFi community. Sponsored Sponsored ACI Proposes Shutting Down 50% of L2s The “State of the Union” report by the Aave Chan Initiative (ACI) paints a candid picture. After a turbulent period in the DeFi market and internal challenges, Aave (AAVE) now leads in key metrics: TVL, revenue, market share, and borrowing volume. Aave’s annual revenue of $130 million surpasses the combined cash reserves of its competitors. Tokenomics improvements and the AAVE token buyback program have also contributed to the ecosystem’s growth. Aave global metrics. Source: Aave However, the ACI’s report also highlights several pain points. First, regarding the Layer-2 (L2) strategy. While Aave’s L2 strategy was once a key driver of success, it is no longer fit for purpose. Over half of Aave’s instances on L2s and alt-L1s are not economically viable. Based on year-to-date data, over 86.6% of Aave’s revenue comes from the mainnet, indicating that everything else is a side quest. On this basis, ACI proposes closing underperforming networks. The DAO should invest in key networks with significant differentiators. Second, ACI is pushing for a complete overhaul of the “friendly fork” framework, as most have been unimpressive regarding TVL and revenue. In some cases, attackers have exploited them to Aave’s detriment, as seen with Spark. Sponsored Sponsored “The friendly fork model had a good intention but bad execution where the DAO was too friendly towards these forks, allowing the DAO only little upside,” the report states. Third, the instance model, once a smart…
