MANILA, Philippines – The Senate impeachment court began the pre-trial conference for Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment proceedings on Thursday, June 18.
During the pre-trial, the prosecution and the defense discuss their respective lists of witnesses and evidence, as well as schedules, to make the trial seamless.
On Thursday, the parties also finished marking the evidence for two out of the four articles of impeachment — for grave threats and for bribery.
