Shares of Nebius Group (NBIS) climbed to approximately $229.94 during Tuesday’s trading session, gaining more than 5% as multiple favorable developments emerged simultaneously. This upward momentum came as welcome relief after the stock had declined roughly 9% in the previous week.
Nebius Group N.V., NBIS
The primary catalyst driving Tuesday’s rally was the announcement of the Physical AI Living Lab, a collaborative initiative with NVIDIA (NVDA) designed to support robotics startups throughout the UK and Europe. This six-month program provides selected participants with comprehensive access to NVIDIA’s Cosmos, Isaac, and OSMO platforms, which facilitate simulation capabilities, synthetic data creation, and artificial intelligence model training.
The inaugural cohort is scheduled to commence in September 2026, with Nebius planning to extend the program to additional geographic markets in subsequent iterations.
The initiative operates on Nebius’s UK-based infrastructure, utilizing NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs — representing NVIDIA’s most recent hardware generation.
Complementing the NVIDIA announcement, Bank of America analysts raised their price objective for NBIS to $280 from the previous $240 target, while maintaining their Buy rating. This upgraded outlook represents meaningful institutional validation that arrived at an opportune time for shareholders.
The BofA upgrade wasn’t operating in isolation. NASDAQ 100 Futures showed gains of 0.8% Tuesday morning, while S&P 500 Futures advanced 0.4%, creating favorable conditions for AI-focused equities.
The Physical AI Lab revelation was accompanied by broader UK infrastructure developments. Nebius disclosed plans for a £1.7 billion capital injection across four UK facilities, incorporating NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra systems. The aggregate infrastructure is projected to achieve 65 megawatts of operational capacity upon full deployment in 2027.
Additionally, the company secured a 22-megawatt, ten-year partnership with Kao Data at its Harlow location, establishing long-term infrastructure capacity within the United Kingdom.
Nebius has been simultaneously expanding its London-based commercial operations and AI research and development center, strengthening its position as a comprehensive AI cloud infrastructure provider across Europe.
The stock has appreciated approximately 142% year-to-date, notwithstanding the recent temporary decline. Shares closed at $218 on Monday before Tuesday’s advance.
Nebius maintains multi-year cloud service agreements with industry giants Microsoft and Meta, which have contributed to sustained positive analyst sentiment leading into this series of announcements.
The simultaneous arrival of the NVIDIA collaboration, the Bank of America target increase, the Kao Data partnership, and the £1.7 billion UK infrastructure commitment all occurred within a compressed timeframe — and investors reacted favorably.
